A Christmas Pony: Part One

Here is the first horse off of my Christmas Breyer haul. *Drumroll please*
Its the Irish Draught!
And he is *FABULOUS*! I named him Hickory Lane, after a line from the chorus of Guster's song, Ramona
He is a beautiful shade of Flaxen Liver Chestnut. I feel like Breyer is progressively getting better with the details in their coloring of the horses, my favorite has to be the pupil and brown eye. And is cute little sock. He's big, and heavy, so I'm hoping no shelf-dominoes will occur because of him. He may just be my favorite of all the new ones I got, and color-wise, but Jesse is still my favorite overall because of the mold.

Here are some model shots, he seems to do great in photo shoots. My Zenyatta? Not so much XD

In fact, I'm using one of my gifts, a new Macbook, now...

I'll post my whole haul in the soon future

A New Member

Introducing...
*drumroll*
Jesse!
He was welcomed to the herd about two months ago, and is my favorite model by far... Even though I have only three traditionals XD. He's on one of my favorite molds, and has great shading. I took my moms advice and got the one with less contrast, but to be honest, I wish I did the opposite. I prefer the ones that are darker.

He does need a new name though, and I really want it to be a Guster lyric (obsessed with them right now). On IMEHA one of his pictures is Some Things Are Best Left Unsaid, from the Guster song Ruby Falls, but I find that it doesn't suit him well. Feel free to suggest others. Debating between:

Parachute (Parachute Over Me)

Lost (Lost and Gone Forever)

...

As I was typing this list, I realized, along with these being song lyrics, they're also album names. Leading me to choose the name, Goldfly

Suits him well I'd say :)
